Alhamdullilah we had our 2nd JJB trip to celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha on Sunday 4th February. With a huge interest, the trip was limited to 30 guys making 5 teams of 6.
Team 1 (aka Team Rizzz) won by points, also winning the final. They did, however, get beaten by Team 4 (aka Team Usayd) to ruin their clean sheet wins. Team 4 were, however, the official losers of the tournament. Hasan Ehsan was especially disappointed after being on the loosing team two times in a row.
I won't bother putting up the scores this time, as they are barely understandable (even to me).
After the trip we made our way to the Trafford Centre where everyone ran off in their groups waving five pound notes. What the purpose of that was, I'm not really sure...Oh yeah, to eat.

Alhamdullilah the JJB Soccerdome trip was a success with a good figure of 26 players we had 5 strong teams:

As a successor to our previous football events, and in celebration of the recent festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, we have decided to go to the JJB Soccer dome for a 5 a side football tournament. This will be in association with the local Young Muslims study circles for boys at the Islamic Cultural Centre, Grove Lane, Altrincham.
The event will be on Sunday 26th November at 11.30AM at the Mosque where there will be a brief reminder from Dr Munir and team allocations before departing to the soccerdome. The event should finish at around 4.00PM when your son can be collected from the Islamic Cultural Centre.
This event has limited places and is therefore decided on a first come first served basis. Please return the slip and payment of £5.00 at the circle on Sunday 19th November or to the Islamic Society on Monday 20th November.
You can find out more about this event, with a follow up of pictures and details this website.
